Play the ball as it lies with no penalty . Option 2 – Player may drop 2 club lengths from where the ball crossed the margin of the penalty area with a 1 stroke penalty .
Drop Procedure – Hold the ball at knee height and drop the ball . If the ball doesn ’ t roll closer to the hole , the ball is in play .
Scramble – All players tee off , the team selects the best drive and then hits from that location . This process is repeated until the ball is holed . ( 1 score is recorded for the team )
Shamble – All players tee off , the team selects the best drive and then each player plays their own golf ball in from that location . ( Individual scores are recorded for each player )
Better Ball – This is a 2 person team , in which the best net score will be counted towards the team total . ( Individual scores are recorded for each player )
Best Ball – This can vary , but on most occasions is a 4 person team in which 2 of 4 best balls count towards the team total . It can also be 1 of 4 .
Skins – When one player records a lower score than everyone else in the competition on a single hole .
Putts – This is a competition in which all players will play their own ball , however the tournament score will be comprised from the total amount of strokes made on the putting surface .

Etiquette & Rules

Pre Round Etiquette – Plan your arrival to the course to ensure enough time to be at your Golf Cart for announcements at 1:50 pm . This allows for a proper 2:00 Shotgun Release to the golf course . Please read the starters report that is sent the day prior to the event so that you know which starting hole you will be on . Use this to reference the cart toppers
