STEP SHOW GUIDELINES Judging Criteria
EXPLANATION OF STEP SHOW JUDGING CRITERIA
APPEARANCE ( 15 ) PRECISION ( 20 ) COMPLEXITY / DIFFICULTY ( 20 )
• Is the team appropriately and uniformly dressed ?
• Does the team look nice throughout the ENTIRE performance ? ( i . e ., are body parts and / or undergarments exposed ?)
• How well were the steps executed ?
• How sharp are the movements ?
• Are all the team members in total sync with each other ?
• Are the team members on beat during the entire performance ?
• Are individual steppers still moving once the step or transition has ended ?
• How difficult or complex are the steps and the entire routine to perform ?
• • How difficult or complex are the transitions ? Does the team utilize a variety of movements and beats ?
CREATIVITY ( 10 ) VOCAL CLARITY ( 10 )
• Is there a theme in the performance ?
• Does the routine seem creative , or have you seen this before ?
SHOWMANSHIP / ENTHUSIASM ( 10 )
• Can you hear and understand what words the person or team is saying ?
• Are there unified words or statements by the team throughout the performance ?
TRANSITIONS / FORMATIONS ( 15 )
