WK01 MIP Graduate Soror Code of Ethics : Guidelines for Ethical and Sisterly Behavior
This workshop will provide information on the newly revised Soror Code of Ethics with particular emphasis on the newer standards – soror engagement , external entities , social media , reputation and brand management . Sorors will gain a better understanding of the purpose , intent and spirit of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Soror Code of Ethics and how it guides our conduct to help strengthen our sisterhood through the art of ethical decision making , respect for one another , maintaining standards and honoring our Founders .
WK02 Constitution Parliamentary Procedure : Time to Practice It with Confidence and Assurance
Join with the Constitution Committee in this interactive workshop that will challenge you to work with the knowledge and experience acquired over the past four years to choose the better to best answer ( s ) to address constitutional and situational scenarios . Participants will offer viable solutions to the scenarios .
WK03 Finance Managing Chapter Financial Operations Using the Fiscal Fitness Guide for Chapter Financial Operations
This interactive workshop provides participants with information on chapter financial procedures and operations . Participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of the financial officers , expectations of being a financial leader and guidelines for managing financial operations . Sorors will become well versed on the information included in the Fiscal Fitness Guide for Chapter Financial Operations , which includes budgeting , auditing , internal controls , and financial statement reporting .
WK04 Membership Retain What We ’ ve Gained with Excellence
This interactive workshop is designed to salute Best of the Chapters and offer member retention strategies for membership excellence . The workshop will aide chapters in maintaining sustainable membership by providing a framework for the use of data visualization tools in developing a manageable chapter membership program . The committee will review membership tools introduced during the Excellence administration and how those tools should be integrated to support chapter reclamation , reactivation , and retention initiatives .
WK05 MIP Graduate Expanding the Sisterhood through MIP Excellence : Modified MIP Best Practices
This workshop will focus on “ Modified MIP Best Practices ” implemented during the pandemic and how to expand the sisterhood using technology and sisterly relationship engagements by way of a virtual
platform .
