A Roadmap to Conducting an Undergraduate MIP with EXCELLENCE
This workshop will provide step by step directions for the following: (1) submitting accurate MIP forms and
documents for the undergraduate MIP process: (2) a reinforcement for a zero tolerance for hazing and (3)
acceptable formats for submitting transcripts. Attend and receive your FREE MIP roadmap.

Program Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service – Strategies for an Award-Winning
Chapter Program
Programs are the heart of our amazing sisterhood. Chapters have demonstrated implementation of the
Excellence Program targets with enthusiasm and tenacity. This workshop will provide resources to chapter
for implementing award-winning programs and assuring outcomes of Excellence.

Protocol Exemplifying Excellence in Alpha Kappa Alpha Protocol
This interactive workshop will include the study of basic protocol for all sorors. This workshop is geared
toward current or aspiring leaders as it relates to protocol implementation for chapter and other sorority
events.

Risk
Management Exemplifying Excellence Through Effective Risk Management: It’s Every Soror’s Business.
This workshop will discuss top Sorority risks; discuss best practices to effectively identify, assess, and
mitigate risk at every level of the Sorority concerning active and inactive members; and explore the role
every soror must play in mitigating risk.

Rituals Our Sacred Rituals: Reverence, Reflection and Renewal
Our Rituals represent the spiritual foundation of out sorority. Join us for this reflective, informative and
interactive workshop to learn how to execute our ritualistic ceremonies.

Sisterly Relations Managing Conflict: K.I.S.S. – Keeping It Sisterly Sorors
This workshop will be a dynamic engaging and interactive workshop filled with tools to manage and resolve
conflicts as they arise. The goal is to ensure that Sorors remain sisterly – even through difficult situations.

Standards Preparing for the Electronic Chapter Evaluation
This interactive workshop shall provide the fundamentals of transitioning to the electronic evaluation
process. Key areas include: Chapter records management and retention; chapter assessment; and end-of-
year reporting. Sorors are encouraged to bring their laptops or tablets as hands-on training will be provided.

Technology Chapter Excellence Using New Technology Initiatives
This informative and interactive workshop will allow sorors to work in real-time with our newly released
initiatives and preview upcoming technology releases. Sorors are encouraged to bring their laptops to the
workshop. Sorors will learn how to use technology to solve Alpha Kappa Alpha chapter challenges, reduce
paper, increase communication and empower the chapter to use: Best practices for our new initiatives
while reinforcing knowledge of “Do’s and Don’ts” with New Technology.

Join the Undergraduate Activities Committee as we recap the undergraduate milestones of the “LEVEL UP!
Leveraging Excellence through Vibrant Engagement and Leadership”. We will host an undergraduate
town-hall and provide the tools you need to take your chapter to the next level.
