Digital citizenship means using technology and
Internet properly. Almost all of us are digital
citizens, since we spend most of our time on
Internet doing various activities. Such as social
media, school work, watch movies and so on.
But just like real life, as digital citizens we have
some rules and laws we must follow.Nowadays,
as everything is associated with technology, we
all have to know how to be responsible digital
citizens.
Have private accounts on social media. You
do not know who can visit your profile and
steal your personal data. You should accept
only people you know, in order to avoid
unwanted consequences.

you may click suspicious websites, so
antivirus software can decrease the
likelihood of getting infected.
Respecting others online helps create a
digital world without problems. When we
respect someone online, we
acknowledge their worth and take them
seriously. We must tell them always the
truth and not try to get advantage of
them. Respecting someone online is
exactly the same as respecting them in
real life. For this reason, we all must try
to keep in mind the following basic tip
about respect online.
Beware of your tone. You should always
remember that whatever you say, can
insult or hurt someone’s feelings. Try not
to use bad language, but explain to
others in a polite way.
