YoungAction for YouropeVision Future of a Society,Youngsters Young People In the Global Area The biggest responsibility in the global arena is young people. We know that the world is in a continuous development. Today's young people will guide humanity in many aspects of economic, cultural and political issues. And so young people must already be able to recognize their identity, express themselves and be brave in defending their thoughts. Now everyone is intertwined in the world. Continuously, countries interact and communicate. And our global areas are constantly growing in this way. In order to keep up with this, our youth must educate themselves well. One of the most important reasons of globalization is thought to be the economy. Trade activities between countries also bring globalization. Of course, since the economy is largely related to technology, young people should be aware of technological developments and use it correctly. Countries that want to contribute to globalization should teach their youth culture, technology, economy and communication and young people should develop themselves on these concepts. Late ones, the voice of the future, should be aware of the world. Rana-Turkey What answers will you get if you ask adults ''What are the rights and responsibilities of young people?''. The answer will probably be ''to go to school, to do homework, to read book, to respect and love their family etc. These answers are true of course, but insufficient. We shouldn't get just these answers. But adults are also right in a way. The reason why they give these answers is young people. If you go out and ask some young people ''Do you defend your rights?, do you save nature?,do you respect others and their ideas?'' etc. Minority of the youngs will answer honestly ''yes'' to these questions. I said honestly because some of them may say ''yes I save the nature'' but a few minutes later they throw garbage on the ground instead of bin. I saw a lot of examples about that. The problem is this. Youngs don't know their rights and responsibilities or they pretend to know. How can we handle this? We can conduct conferences in schools. Also families can tell to their children. But just telling or speaking is not enough. We have to tell them practically. But how? After speaking about nature, we can plant trees; after speaking about voting or participating in social events, we can vote in school elections or make a speech about any topic in front of the students in school. Now I'm gonna count some of my rights and responsibilities as a young citizen: I have freedom to express my ideas; ı have right to vote; ı have right to defend myself and my rights; ı have right to choose my belief and religion; ı have right to use health services; ı have right to study and go to school; ı have freedom about art and science; ı have right to learn what government does about my country and people; ı have right to work in a job; ı have right to defend my culture etc. have to obey rules; ı have to have a say in public as a young for a good future; ı have to respect others and their rights and ideas; ı have to oppose racism; ı have to use public transport as much as possible, ı have to keep my rubbish until ı find a rubbish bin, ı have to plant and water trees to save the nature; ı have to warn people about world's problems and their solutions; ı have to save animals, plants and other living beings; ı have to know that this planet is not only ours, we are not it's owner, we have to love it, save it etc We should take action as youngs.
