Ecotourism was found to create more money and economic growth for the local communities Ecotourism is boomingEcotourism provides effective economic incentives for conserving and enhancing bio-cultural diversity and helps protect the natural and cultural heritage of our planet. All stakeholders involved in tourism have their role to play in the sustainable development of the sector. Since 1980, ecotourism has been considered a critical effort by ecologists. Principles are: � Minimize physical, social, behavioral, and psychological impacts. � Build environmental and cultural awareness and respect. � Provide positive experiences for both visitors and hosts Ecotourism has also made it possible to focus on socially responsible travel, personal growth as well as environmental sustainability. 23
