Our VPMA King & Queen

Aaradhna is no stranger to awards ceremonies , and holds the record at the VPMAs for winning the most awards , when she took home 5 trophies in 2013 , for her album ‘ Treble and Reverb ”.
Since that awards ceremony , Aaradhna has spent a lot of time overaseas which has meant she has been unable to attend for a few years . However , last year she did a surprise guest performance , which was the first live performance of “ Brown Girl ” and this year it was wonderful to have her for the full awards ceremony .
Throughout the night the audience was treated to an insight to who Aaradhna is as a person . As she delivered each acceptance speech , she shared her personality and personal stories with the audience . Like many artists , Aaradhna displayed the contradiction that is often “ in play ” for most artists , shy , humble and unassuming in person , but then absolutely commanding and absolutely confi dent when performing . She definitely displayed this on the awards stage , being the utmost professional performer that she is , and gave a beautiful and captivating performance of her latest single “ Forever Love ”.
