Rana Uppalapati An entre-
preneur and a marathon
skater, last September Rana
Uppalapati set out on a
journey to skate 6,000 km
through the Golden Quadri-
lateral and passing through
Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai
and Delhi. The journey took
him 3 months and his aim
was to raise funds to educate
25,000 underprivileged girl
children, and to create
awareness about safety and
security of the girl child.
He raised 5 crores in this
initiative and interacted with
almost 6 lakh children along
the way. This is a story of grit
and determination.
