Irmina Ulysse, originally from Haiti/Ayiti, has lived
in the US for over 35 years. Her first name means
noble and complete and inspires her unique
expressions of Ayitian Folklore and Sacred Dance.
Her dance training is typical of many dancers and
like many dancers she has been dancing as long as
she can remember. Formally, she studied Ballet and
Modern dance at various schools. Later, she
naturally gravitated back towards indigenous dances
of the Carribean settling back into her love and
passion for Ayitian sacred dance and chants. Irmina
dance is infused by her passion for spiritual growth
and development. She is also a student of
Traditional African Spiritual Sciences and
Metaphysics and is dedicated to the study of sacred
dances, rituals and natural healing modalities from
ancient African traditions and from the Caribbean.
On the secular front, Irmina worked exclusively as a certified personal trainer, group exercise instructor, and
