Activities in Spain in 2015
Radio programme
On April 8, we were invited to
participate in "Nature
Reserve" a radio program on
Environment and Nature. A
songwriter and singer from
Sierra Leona was invited too.
His instruments are made
from recycled materials.
Carnival. Costumes from
recycled materials
For Christmas and Carnival
celebrations different material
were used and original and
fun costumes created.
Visit to GREFA
On May 15 we visited GREFA, a
wildlife hospital located in
North of Madrid. We went by
train and then walked up the
hill to the hospital. We saw
what they do and how they
work, and a wounded animal
in an operating rooms. We
also saw animals recovering:
eagles, vultures, crows, owls,
etc. Animal are set free in the
wild once they have
recovered.
