Miracle League at Field of Dreams
9:30 AM – 2 PM @ MIRACLE LEAGUE OF DUBUQUE 5:30 – 9:30 PM @ FIELD OF DREAMS MOVIE SITE
( DYERSVILLE , IA ) Miracle League baseball teams from Dubuque IA , Sioux City IA , and the south hills of Pittsburgh PA will participate in competition and games . The travel team in the south hills of Pittsburgh was started by 3x All-Star and Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer Sean “ The Mayor ” Casey about 3 years ago . Miracle League teams play on turf or rubberized fields that accommodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries . The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children and adults with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and will let them experience the joy of America ’ s favorite pastime . It ’ s a full day of baseball , and all are welcome to come watch , cheer , and support some of the best athletes the Miracle League has to offer . Great Museum Race
6 – 9 PM @ NATIONAL MISSISSIPPI RIVER MUSEUM & AQUARIUM The River Museum campus will be transformed into a thrilling adventure racecourse with lots of laughs , excitement , activities , and games . Teams of 4 – 6 registrants will race against the clock to win games , challenges , brainteasers , and other activities . Every team will register at the Pit Stop to track their time and take a required fuel stop . Before getting their next clue , participants in any one of the 15 activity stations will need to throttle their way through the obstacle . Throughout the race , there will be detours and roadblocks to give teams a little variation . Space is limited .
