Adventurous Training and Force Development
A wide range of adventurous activities are available to Squadron members to encourage teamwork , expand experiences and allow individuals to challenge themselves . From mountaineering , and rock climbing to sailing and parachuting , the opportunity is there to expand the knowledge base and experience of an activity , or simply try something new . Adventurous training can go further and allow those who wish to become leaders or instructors to gain qualifications in their chosen discipline . All of this whilst getting paid .
Force Development opportunities offer the chance to enhance knowledge , ability and experience within a military environment . Professional advancement is available through training and promotion courses , which can in turn open up further opportunities . An educational allowance is also available to Squadron members for attendance on short training courses .
