The two major rail lines ran straight through our property at Collier's Reserve and across the bridge that spanned the Cocohatchee, then called Horse Creek. In old land ownership maps and aerial photography, the two rail lines are clearly marked, running north and south parallel to each other.

The ACL's tracks ran alongside of what is now Goodlett-Frank Road and remained there until approximately 1980 when they were removed to widen the road. When the owner of the SAL line died in 1942, the SAL withdrew to Fort Myers and its tracks and real estate were sold to the ACL. At that time the ACL picked up the SAL's right of way and abandoned both the western track and the depot on Airport-Pulling Road. The ACL continued service to Naples until 1971.
