24:Journey To Legacy Jun. 2017 | Page 3

ABO UT 24: Journey to legacy happened by accident. Since the beginning of this year I knew I would release my first creative project out there for the world to see, but it wasn't meant to be so personal. I had a timeline, a structure and an order in place. I even had various teams in place for different projects that were waiting for the call or message to say "Hey, I'm ready lets do this!" But none of the projects, though a lot clearer, did not feel for a long time like they were meant to be the first. I was thinking about turning 24 this year and I was thinking a lot about my Mum and how she began new legacy of sorts when she got married at 24. And out of that came this visual poetry in my mind. By the time I had written it all down it was this visual story consisting of various visual chapters alongside a film short. And thus 24:Journey to Legacy came to be. Just like the concept and the story (Intimate) So was my team. It wouldn't be true if my Twin Sister was not a part of the story-telling. She champions my creative vision as if it were her own. And in addition,I needed someone I completely trusted to respect my creative direction and to challenge it if it was short of excellent.  So I was excited when Blessy agreed to come on board. My heart for the entirety of this project (Photos + Film) is to initiate a conversation on legacy, and inspire people to begin or to restart (just so as long as they don't stop) in pursuit of creating a life that God intended for them. Which in turn is a life they are proud of, and are happy with enough to leave a trail for people to follow, because they lived life the best version of themselves o
