This summer marked the third year of the Music for Maryland Tour , featuring featuring eight pay-whatyou-wish performances across the state by the full orchestra , as well as intimate chamber music concerts .
Made possible by the State of Maryland and PNC Bank Foundation .
The BSO returned to Boordy Vineyards for a family-friendly performance with a selection of Mozart serenades , symphonies , and the operatic Violin Concerto No . 5 , played by Acting Assistant Concertmaster Boram Kang .
BSO OrchKids capped off its threeweek summer program with a concert at Goucher College . 123 students strengthened their music and academic skills on a college campus with daily rehearsals and sectionals .
