not lowered.
If the connector lock pin is lowered, the connector lock is operating. Unlock the doors using the smart key system or wireless remote control and unlock the AC charging connector lock and check that the connector lock pin is not extended.
The AC charging connector is unlocked and can be removed. n If the AC charging connector cannot be unlocked
lIf the AC charging connector cannot be unlocked even though you
have the electronic key with you,
unlock the doors to unlock the connector.
lIf the AC charging connector cannot be unlocked by normal operations, or if the release button has a
malfunction and the AC charging connector cannot be unlocked,
the AC charging connector can be
unlocked using one of the followings.
• Perform the unlock operations of
the doors 3 times using the wireless remote control or door lock
switches.
• Stop charging on the meter display( �P. 99).
If the AC charging connector cannot be unlocked even after performing
the above, the AC charging connector can be unlocked by operating the emergency release wire.
Do not unlock the AC charging connector this way unless it is an emergency.
If the problem is not solved, have the vehicle inspected by your
SUBARU retailer immediately.
1 Open the hood.( �P. 555) 2 Pull the emergency release wire.
3 After unlocking the AC charging connector, fix the handle of the emergency release wire to the attachment.

n When locking the AC charging connector
Observe the following precautions. Failure to do so may cause
a malfunction in the charging connector locking system.
lCheck that the AC charging connector is compatible with this vehicle. An AC charging connector of the different type or a charging connector with damaged or deformed insertion part may not be locked.
