Who is Eligible? To participate in the Radon Mitigation Program, you must:
Be served by Brown County Public Health.
Be the owner of a single‐family home.
Please note that people who live in the City of De Pere or are members of the Oneida Nation are not eligible, as they are served by their own respective health departments. Brown County employees are also not eligible to participate.
Because the individual payments are more than $ 600, those who are randomly selected to receive the money will be required to fill out a W‐9 form and will receive a 1099 form from Brown County for tax purposes.
Don ' t Guess, Test! The best way to protect your home and your family from radon is to test. This new program provides a simple and affordable way to do just that. We encourage every eligible homeowner in Brown County to take this crucial first step.
Stay Healthy Brown County! ###
