Facility Highlights
Burruss Correctional Training Center hosted a special evening to express gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who selflessly give their time and energy to support the facility. Their contributions make a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.
Thanks to our GDC educators and instructors who have tirelessly supported and encouraged students in achieving their academic goals, 395 students earned a GED during the first quarter of FY2026. Every GED earned represents a story of perseverance and we are proud of the accomplishments our students have made.
Augusta State Medical Prison hosted the Kairos Prison Ministry, which provided offenders with meaningful opportunities to engage in religious activities, pursue their spiritual growth, reflect and connect.
