CPOF GDC staff and Honor Guard had the honor of attending the CPOF PROJECT 2000 XXXVII Memorial Ceremony. This event was dedicated to honoring the brave correctional professionals who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Additionally, the ceremony paid tribute to former GDC Board Member Rose Williams and recognized a GDC officer who was assaulted while carrying out their duties.
COUNSELORS The GDC hosted Advanced Counseling Techniques I & II training for 41 Counselors. The 2-day training session was facilitated by licensed psychologist Dr. Steven Sampson, who utilized his established curriculum to equip participants with the essential tools needed to effectively support offenders in their journeys of personal growth and problem-solving.
