CONTRABAND
The GDC Office of Professional Standards assisted the Calhoun County Sheriff ' s Office in executing search warrants that resulted in the discovery of a large amount of contraband.
We appreciate our partnership with the Johnson County Sheriffs Office who located a drone that had crashed in the woods near Johnson State Prison with contraband intended for the facility.
The package found contained tobacco packages, multiple sealed suspected marijuana packages, individually packaged cigarettes, and multiple cell phones, according to the sheriff’ s office.
