AUGUSTA STATE MEDICAL PRISON Augusta State Medical Prison( ASMP) recently held a ceremony announcing the reopening of the surgical unit at ASMP as a fully licensed Ambulatory Surgical Center. Through a partnership with Centurion and U. S. Medical Group, the team transformed a decommissioned space into a state-of-the-art operating suite— expanding in-house surgical capability, improving operational efficiency, and reducing reliance on external transports.
