EDEN PRAIRIE
COMMUNITY GUIDE 2026
Representing Employees Across the Metro
While the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce was created in 1969, it has since grown to more than 400 members ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. The Chamber acts as a representative body for more than 35,000 area employees. The nonprofit provides resource programs, volunteer opportunities and networking initiatives designed to create collaborative spaces for members, residents and students. The chamber hosts more than 120 networking opportunities each year. These include special luncheons, speed networking, progressive networking, legislative and candidate forums, women’ s networking roundtables, brown bag lunches, human resources roundtables and an annual golf tournament. Large-scale events include the Career & College Expo with Eden Prairie High School, the Everything Spring Expo and Farmers Market and the all-day Entrepreneur Bootcamp conference. Thousands of participants attend Chamber events annually.
The chamber also represents its members on local, state and federal legislation. These advocacy efforts are led by the Public Policy Committee, which meets at 7:30 a. m. on the first Thursday of every month at the Chamber office. This committee exists for members interested in legislative, transportation and business advocacy issues affecting Eden Prairie and the surrounding areas. During meetings, members discuss local issues, communicate positions to local and state officials and engage with policy makers.
Other committees include the Ambassador Committee, which meets at 11:30 a. m. on the first Tuesday of every month, and the Women’ s Networking Group, which meets from 7:45 to 8:45 a. m. on the third Thursday of every month. The Emerging Leaders Steering Committee collaborates with chamber staff to plan the annual Twin Cities Young Professionals Summit and other monthly networking events.
These strong partnerships extend throughout the city and the Eden Prairie Independent School District, offering community members and students opportunities to work together. The Chamber also supports the Future Leaders Student Membership Program at Eden Prairie High School, which has served more than 300 students.
The organization’ s board of directors is composed of volunteer business representatives. Its professional staff includes Pat MulQueeny, president; Grace Leapaldt, marketing and events manager; and Kirsten Barott, relationship and events director.
