Overview
The 2026 Renown Health and Northern Nevada Public Health CHNA integrated findings from all primary and secondary data sources using a triangulation methodology. This approach identifies areas where multiple independent data streams converge on the same finding, strengthening confidence in the identified community health priorities. The synthesis process examined convergence across key informant interviews, focus groups, the community survey, and secondary data indicators for each potential health need area.
A total of 350 + secondary health and quality-of-life indicators from over 60 data sources were analyzed alongside qualitative themes from 19 KIIs( 42 participants), 15 focus groups( 110 participants), and 694 community survey responses. The synthesis identified both areas of strong cross-source consensus and areas of divergence that merited further contextual analysis.

By giving the greatest weight to primary data, we ensure that the voices and experiences of our community drive the priorities we address together.
