Quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed using thematic coding, triangulation methodology, and a structured data scoring process. Priority health needs were identified through a multi-criteria decision matrix that evaluated magnitude of impact, cross-source convergence, health equity implications, community urgency, and trend direction.
Reporting & Dissemination
This report represents the culmination of the 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment( CHNA) process. It will be made publicly available on the Renown Health and Northern Nevada Public Health websites and submitted for formal adoption to the Renown Health Board of Directors and the Washoe County District Board of Health.
Findings will directly inform the development of Renown Health ' s 2027-2029 Implementation Strategy, Northern Nevada Public Health ' s 2027-2029 Community Health Implementation Plan, and support community health planning efforts across the region.
The Nevada Tomorrow platform, a partnership among Northern Nevada Public Health, Renown Health, Truckee Meadows Tomorrow, Conduent, and other community organizations, serves as the shared data infrastructure supporting this Community Health Needs Assessment( CHNA) and the subsequent Community Health Improvement Plan( CHIP). The platform provides access to more than 450 community indicators and interactive data tools that allow residents, organizations, and decision-makers to monitor health trends, track progress toward community health goals, and support data-driven action over time. By providing a common source of community-level data, the platform helps partners align efforts, measure impact, and move the needle together on improving community health outcomes.
