Every day is a different day at the Isanti County Fair! Attend daily to catch all the great events planned for the 149th anniversary in 2026. Gates open 3 p. m. on Wednesday, July 15, and the fair officially closes at 6 p. m. on Sunday, July 19.
Wednesday is Military Day, Thursday is Senior’ s Day, Friday is Kid’ s Day, Saturday is 4-H Day and Sunday is Family Day. Veterans will have free admission on Wednesday. Enjoy a free trolley ride every day!
Many refer to the Isanti County Fair as“ The Best Five Days of Summer,” and that can be attributed to numerous reasons. That includes the opportunities to have affordable family fun and greet neighbors. Every day includes events to promote interactive fun for the whole family. Take a chance at being the Fair Family of the Day to win ride passes, food and grandstand tickets!
The annual fair is organized each year by the Isanti County Fair Board. With the gracious support of local businesses and private donations, the fair board can offer a measureless variety of free entertainment, live music in the band shell, entertainer performances, farm animal exhibits, open class displays, contests and demonstrations. Saturday’ s special event is a Beard Judging Contest at the bandshell. Come taste
all the scrumptious food and beverages offered from an assortment of vendors from all over the state, and the free corn feed on Sunday by the beer gardens.
The midway’ s carnival rides, provided by Amusement Attractions, open at 3 p. m. on Wednesday, 1 p. m. on Thursday, 10 a. m. on Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday. Specials include the Wednesday special when all rides are $ 2, and $ 25 arm band days on Friday 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. and Sunday noon to 5 p. m. Advanced ride tickets available on the fair website are five tickets for only $ 10; advance tickets are one ticket per ride. Ride tickets purchased
during the fair are $ 1 each; 3-5 tickets required for each ride. Tickets are good on any ride, any day, and any time.
Grandstand events start at 7 p. m. on Wednesday and 6 p. m. Thursday through Saturday. Wednesday: Motocross, Thursday: Demo Derby, Friday: Tractor-Diesel Pickup-Semi Pull, and Saturday: Night of Destruction. Sunday’ s classic car show opens at 8 a. m.
