• Discuss equipment and utensils used in baking and their proper use and care

• 70 hour CISCO academy course
• Identify common security threats like phishing and spoofing

• Learn how to be safe online by understanding the most common threats, attacks and vulnerabilities
• Find out how businesses protect their operations from cyber attacks and why jobs are growing
• Examine legislation related to data confidentiality, integrality and availability
• Understand personal responsibilities and liabilities when working with confidential information
• Recognize the threats and risk to modern data and information systems
• Understand risk management and methods used to address risk

Ethical Hacking [ STEP only ] Prerequisite / Selection process: Cybersecurity I & II Intended audience: Grades 11 and 12 Credit: One trimester / two periods = 1.0 credit Major outcomes:
• Critically analyze various recon techniques and their effectiveness
• Demonstrate the use of tools to escalate privileges on a remote device
• Demonstrate password cracking using different tools
• Compare and contrast various techniques for launching server attacks
• Demonstrate various web based attacks
• Compare and contrast various wireless attacks
• Apply ethical theories to a cyber related issue
• Compare and contrast“ white hat hacking” versus“ black hat hacking” versus“ grey hat hacking”
• Differentiate various ethical hacking issues such as hacking, cyber crime, hactivism and cyber terrorism
