Practicum in Exercise Science |

Through a 5-hour practicum, students will gain practical experience in the field of exercise science through a | |||
supervised practicum placement. Students will apply theoretical knowledge in a professional setting such as a | |||
fitness center, rehabilitation clinic, or sports team environment. The practicum provides opportunities for handson | |||
learning in areas like exercise prescription, client interaction, program implementation, and facility | |||
management. Students will conclude their practicum experience by reflecting on their experiences and tying | |||
those experiences to what they have learned throughout the program and how they can take what they have | |||
learned to enhance professional development and career readiness. |
