This course introduces special topics in professional counseling in a hybrid format that includes a 3-day mandatory oncampus residency. Special topics will include issues of relevance to both school and clinical mental health concentrations with an emphasis on application in the field. Time on campus will be spent in both didactic and experiential learning workshops, punctuated with time to collaborate with peers, meet with faculty mentors, and engage in other professional preparation activities.
