Transfers: Internal: Students who are enrolled in any Major at the University may additionally enroll in the Trauma- Informed Care Certificate program, with approval from their Major Program Director and the Program Director for the Certificate. External: Any student who has been enrolled in a regionally accredited post-secondary school of higher education and accepted into Gwynedd Mercy University as a transfer student may enroll in the Trauma- Informed Care Certificate program. The Registrar’ s office will conduct a transfer equivalency analysis of the applicant ' s completed credits.
Academic Standards / Grade Requirements: Students in the Trauma-Informed Care Certificate program must maintain a C or better in all required course in the Certificate program. Students who do not obtain a C or better in any required Certificate course will have the option to repeat the course or withdraw from the Certificate program.
Attendance Policies: Same as the University.
Academic Progress, Probation, and Program Dismissal: Students who receive below a C in any required course for the Trauma-Informed Care Certificate are allowed to repeat the course once to obtain a C or better. If the student is not able to earn a C or better in the repeated class, they will be dismissed from the program.
