Rogers boys hockey team opens season with rout of Andover

Fresh off the program’ s first state tournament appearance in 2025, the Royals boys hockey team is now 1-2-0 on the 2025-26 season after its first three games.
The Royals routed Andover( 0-2-0) 7-1 in its season opener on Thursday, Nov. 20, at Andover Arena. However, the Royals fell in their next two games, both at home at the Rogers Activity Center.
STMA SPOILS ROGERS HOME OPENER
The STMA Knights( 1-0-0) spoiled the Royals 2025-26 home opener with a 3-2 win on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Forwards Cole Bumgarner and Brock Cheslock scored for the Royals in the second period.
BUMGARNER SCORES LONE GOAL IN ROYALS’ LOSS TO WHITE BEAR LAKE
On Tuesday, Nov. 22, the Royals, who made the state hockey tournament last season, squared off against White Bear Lake, who made the 2024 state tournament. The Bears
left Rogers with a 3-1 win thanks to timely offense and senior goalie Riley Helmberger, who made 32 saves on 33 shots.

The Royals face Rosemount at a Thanksgiving tournament game on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 11 a. m. Pagel Activity Center in Minnetonka.

TALK TO YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER: The oxygen flow setting must be determined and recorded for each patient individually by the prescriber, including the configuration of the device, its parts, and the accessories. It is the responsibility of the patient to periodically reassess the setting( s) of the therapy for effectiveness. The proper placement and positioning of the prongs of the nasal cannula in the nose is critical for oxygen to be delivered.
