The Rogers boys basketball team is two years removed from appearing at the 2024 state tournament, it’ s first state appearance since 2009.

Sting boys basketball came one win from state last season

The Spectrum boys basketball team came one win away from the program’ s first state appearance in 2024-25. The Sting will try to make state for the first time this season.

2024-25 record: 22-8( lost to Albany in Section 6-2A championship game)
Key returning players: Junior Bryce Gaustad led the Sting with 69 3-pointer. Senior guard Eli Miller scored 300 points for the Sting last season.
Key returning players: Senior Jason Lutgen led all returning players in points with 86.
Key departures: Guard Trey Mix, who helped the Royals get to state in 2024, led the 2024-25 Royals in scoring with 311 points. Also graduating were Dylan Bachmeier, Colton Kazmierkoski, Grant Kuhlman and Josh Rachel. Important games:
