Parents Night Out – Kids Fun Night!

Drop your kids off and have an evening out – child free. Children will enjoy nature activities and games, meet animals, go on a hike, and have a pizza party. Craft time and story time will round out the night. You will pick them up ready for a good night’ s sleep.

Community Campfire

Gather with family and friends at Terrace View Park for a campfire under the stars. We will provide the cozy campfire and all the fixings to make s’ mores. We recommend bringing a blanket or chair. The Nature Center will be open for the first hour, so you can meet our live animals. All participants over age 2 must register.

Snowstorm Lab-Life Coaching for Kids

Let ' s play with winter and socialize with new friends! No snow on the ground? No problem! We will make our own fluffy, faux, scented science snow in our science snow lab. Color it, scent it, add in snowballs, and make a bubbling SNOWCANO! Winter truly is an avalanche of wild and wacky fun! Class will culminate with making an edible snowman with marshmallows. Kids keep the faux snow they make and will learn 15 creative S. T. E. M. projects they can do at home with their fluffy pile. Bonus hidden self-esteem life coaching lesson: How is snow like us?

Hot Cocoa Communication-Life Coaching for Kids

January 31st is National Hot Chocolate Day, and we are celebrating by focusing not only on the health benefits of this timeless warm drink, but also the social communication benefits too! Humans have been drinking this warm treat over conversation for a long time. We will learn how it all started and then sit down for a decadent cup ourselves as we participate in 5-rapid communication games while enjoying our drink loaded with unique marshmallows. The Incredible Edible Icee Experience-Life Coaching for Kids

Kids will create their own outrageous ICEE concoction and then slurp it up while learning the history and science of this beloved sweet treat. Did you know ICEES were invented by accident? There is so much cool history about the famous ICEE! Lastly, kids will participate in the most outrageous ICEE slurping contest in town while jamming to the song“ Dance the Slurp”! Who will be crowned ICEE King or Queen? Think BRAIN FREEZE! Don’ t wear your Sunday best to this event, we will get sticky!
