Cool Jobs Tour showcases local, high-paying manufacturing careers

October marks Manufacturing Month in Minnesota, and Independent School District 728( Elk River, Otsego, Rogers and Zimmerman) is once again partnering with local chambers of commerce and cities to spotlight the exciting, high-demand careers available close to home.
The Cool Jobs Tour, a hands-on event designed to connect students, parents and the community with local manufacturers, continues to grow in both reach and impact.
The initiative began in 2018, when ISD 728 and the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce joined forces to host the first Cool Jobs Tour. The goal was simple: introduce middle and high school students to the innovative, technology-driven world of
