Ally was a member of NHS as well as being a 3 sport athlete. She was a part of the gymnastics team, track team, and the swim and dive team.

Grace continued to challenge herself senior year by taking five AP courses. She ran for the cross country team in the fall and competed in the MSHSL State tournament for the math league in the spring.

Addison has been actively involved in a variety of extracurricular activities throughout her high school years. She dedicated all four years to the Elk River girls’ soccer team. In her junior and senior years, she also participated on the Elk River girls’ golf team.
Outside of sports, Addison was a member of the National Honor Society for her sophomore, junior, and senior year. Addison took several college courses. She completed College Intermediate Spanish I, College Algebra, College Pre-Calculus, and College Principles of Macroeconomics, further preparing herself for her future.

Avery Louder

During her time at Elk River, Avery took a total of 9 AP / Weighted classes including this years, Calc Ab, Anatomy, Spanish 4, and Lit. Avery was also highly involved in the Elk River Girls Swim and Dive Team where she was a once again named a captain and earned a varsity letter. Avery has also been a part of National Honor Society for the past couple of years including this year.
2. What was your most memorable high school experience? Why was it special?

Receiving not just one, but two awards for her painting was an amazing experience for Addison. It validated her dedication and passion for art, making her feel special and deeply grateful for the opportunity to share her creativity.

Addison will attend Minnesota State University, Mankato in the fall and major in Mechanical Engineering.

Cody Edman

This past year, Cody has proved to be outstanding in the class and out of it. Taking classes, such as AP Calculus BC, AP Literature, and AP Statistics maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. Outside of class, he’ s remained deeply involved in a variety of activities. Competing in varsity-level Soccer, Football, Nordic Skiing, and Tennis, contributing to each team’ s success. As well, he is an active member of the National Honor Society, balancing both leadership and service commitments. His combination of academic focus and diverse extracurricular involvement shows his drive for excellence.

Taylor Spanier

Spanier Town: Elk River 1. Highlight your involvement in high school classes and extra-curricular activities this past year.
Taylor participated in numerous extra-curricular activities throughout her high school career and was involved in a variety of different classes. Taylor was a part of the track team, involved in The National Honors Society, LINK, and DECA. Taylor was also on the DECA leadership team for two years showing leadership in the Elk River DECA chapter. Taylor’ s senior year classes consisted of many college level classes including college Spanish, economics, Advanced Marketing and AP statistics. Taylor also was a part of the school store team managing the store every day at lunch.
2. What was your most memorable high school experience? Why was it special?
Taylor’ s most memorable high school experience was senior year homecoming week being on the royalty
point for a team that had grown together through the highs and lows. Experiencing that win with his teammates who had stuck together through the tough times made the victory even more meaningful. The season felt like a true success— not just because of the scoreboard, but because of the bond, effort, and leadership that defined it.
3. What are your plans for the future?
Cody plans to pursue a career in actuarial science at Creighton University, combining his love of math and interest in problem-solving. He also hopes to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level, staying connected to the sport that he loves.

This experience was so special to Taylor because she saw everyone in the school having fun throughout the week and knowing she was a part of that was a great experience.
3. What are your plans for the future?
Taylor plans to attend the University of Minnesota to study business management at the Carlson School of Management. Taylor also plans on studying a minor on entrepreneurship. Throughout her college years, she hopes to find internships along the way that will help lead her to finding her career after college.
