Aaron Pederson stayed active this past year, participating as a Captain on the High School Basketball Team, being a member of the Elk River Speech Team, and participating in National Honor Society and High School Tennis as well.

James has been an active member of the National Honor Society for the last three years. He has also taken an independent study of woodworking where he built his own desktop and various other projects with the CNC router while helping out the beginning woodshop students.

Ana took a number of AP and college classes her senior. She also maintained her status in NHS and accumulated around 200 + volunteer hours by volunteering twice a week with Arrows Heart Animal Rescue. She also was a captain of Elk River’ s Speech Team, and has so far

3. What are your plans for the future?
Aaron is headed to the University of Minnesota— Twin Cities to pursue a pre-medical track of Biomedical Engineering with a potential minor in Business. He plans on furthering his education after undergrad at Medical School to become a doctor, either as a Surgeon or an Anesthesiologist.

James is going to Anoka Technical College after graduating high school. He will be working towards a Robotic and Electronic Engineering AAS degree in order to have the opportunity to work in the mechatronics and automation engineer fields.

Matthew Bliss

Bliss Town: Ramsey 1. Highlight your involvement in high school classes and extra-curricular activities this past year.
Matthew always made sure to get work in on time and hardly ever missed school. He participated in the NHS for 3 years( 1 letter), boys tennis for 4 years( 3 letters and 1 allconference), and boys soccer for 6 years( 3 letters). He was also the treasurer for the 4-H club the Cheerful Chuggers for 3 years.

Carolyn Loxtercamp

Carolyn dedicated herself to AP Physics, AP Calculus, and AP Literature this year, while also taking on the role of Production Manager for the school yearbook committee and remaining an active member of National Honor Society, Link, Prom Squad, and Young Life.

Carolyn’ s most memorable experience in high school was playing volleyball in ninth grade. Her teammates grew very close over the season, and she

One of Ana’ s most memorable high school experiences has been being able to go to Boston with the travel speech team. There, she was able to see the ocean, visit numerous landmarks by walking part of the freedom trail, and try new foods, all while bonding with her friends and teammates.
3. What are your plans for the future?
Ana plans to attend Illinois Institute of Technology in the fall, with a major in Architecture.

Matthew plans on attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison( School of Business). There he plans to study actuarial science and participate in intramural sports.

2. What was your most memorable high school experience? Why was it special?
His most memorable high school experience was his junior season of varsity baseball because he got to spend time with his best friends every day.
Addison Maier
Parents: Alison and Brandon Maier Town: Elk River 1. Highlight your involvement in high school classes and extra-curricular activities this past year.
Over the past year, Addison has been involved in math team, NHS, and LINK. With the math team, she attended the math league state tournament with ERHS and individually placed 7th in her division. Addison also served as secretary of NHS her senior year. Outside of school, Addison worked at Target and also volunteered at Mercy Hospital.
2. What was your most memorable high school experience? Why was it special?
Addison’ s most memorable high school experience is probably attending high school football games, especially when she got to go to the US Bank her senior year. Though Addison did not watch much football at these games, she considered them a fun time to spend with her friends. She especially enjoyed getting to drive to the

Carter’ s most memorable high school experience was going down to U. S. Bank Stadium to watch the Elk’ s football team win 2 state titles while playing in the band, forging some of my greatest memories with my friends.

He is planning on attending North Dakota State University to pursue a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in manufacturing engineering.

Another thing she enjoyed about football games was getting food afterwards with her friends. Whether it was going to Applebee’ s or a delicious Pho restaurant in Uptown Minneapolis after the State semifinal game, Addison loved getting to debrief and spend more time with her friends.
3. What are your plans for the future?
This fall, Addison plans to attend the University of Minnesota to study Biology with a minor in Spanish. With this degree, she ultimately hopes to attend medical school with the ultimate goal of becoming a radiologist.
Carter’ s plan for the future is to attend North Dakota State University to pursue a degree in electrical engineering.
