Richfield- A community full of life
Richfield is so special to me and within our seven-square miles you will find a community full of life.
Our mission in local government is to create equitable systems, infrastructure and services that make our community better. We want to be a city where everyone can thrive.
This year we have celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Wood Lake Nature Center, the opening of the Veterans Park Splashpad, a summer full of amazing community events and continued work on our strategic priorities. As we look ahead, this fall will be full of beautiful colors, Halloween festivities and celebrations of community.
The best way to experience Richfield is to be a part of it. I encourage you to get involved and make your mark on Richfield. You can do that by helping your neighbors, participating in local government, frequenting our stores and restaurants or using our parks and bike paths.
Our city is inspired by the work of our nine boards and commissions, which advise the city council on a variety of topics. Beginning Oct. 1, we will take applications for vacancies, with new terms beginning in February 2026. We need a variety of voices- please consider applying!
