Princeton City of Parks

The Princeton area has an abundance of parks that are perfect for picnics , enjoying the river , fishing , hiking or playing on playgrounds . CIVIC CENTER PARK 803 N . Ninth St .
The Civic Center building is a great asset to the Princeton community and is available for your event , wedding , meeting or graduation party . The facility ’ s kitchen has a refrigerator , stove , dual oven , charbroiler , griddle and dishwasher . There are tables and stackable banquet chairs for you to use during an event . Two screens have been mounted on the walls to allow for powerpoint , slide show or remote meeting displays with Wi-Fi provided . Outside , the park has a barbeque and picnic area , playground , basketball court , pickleball court and horseshoe pits . In the winter , the community is welcome to come out and enjoy an outdoor ice rink , weather permitting . A warming house is available for ice rink users in the winter months . Contact the City of Princeton in advance to use the warming house or rent the Civic Center .
MARK PARK
405 S . 11th Ave .
This 20-acre recreational park is the hub of many Princeton activities . There are three softball fields , two baseball fields , a large playground , two shelters , four horseshoe pits and restrooms . Come and watch the Princeton High School Tigers baseball team during the spring , or the Princeton Panthers and Legion Teams in the summer . Area community teams practice and compete all summer on the softball fields at Mark Park . Mark Park is the home of the Princeton Splash Park , which is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day . It is a perfect place to cool off on hot summer days for children from toddlers through elementary age . The Splash Park and all park shelters are available to rent for parties , gatherings and picnics . Please contact City Hall to make your reservation .
