ELIM OASIS
Opened in the 2000 , Elim Oasis provides an engaging , stimulating and enriching array of activities and services to its adult care participants at the Freshwaters Methodist Church , Princeton campus . It is ideal for those who live at home but could benefit from daytime or cognitive assistance . Elim Oasis focuses on the health and wellness of its participants and reassurance and support for their family caregivers . The professional staff are specially-trained and participate in ongoing training in adult day services including neurological conditions and dementia care . It provides engaging , stimulating and meaningful activities for adults in Sherburne , Isanti , Mille Lacs and Benton counties .
Held on Monday – Friday from 8 a . m . – 2:45 p . m ., Elim Oasis participants enjoy a large central room for dining and activities , home-like kitchen and outdoor patio and space for outdoor games . CALEY HOUSE
Named after prominent people in Princeton ’ s history , the Caley House has provided assisted-living care and services for its residents since 1977 . Apartment suites for each tenant provide the privacy and security needed for each resident to create a home . Breakfast and noon dinner are served in a cozy dining room in the heart of Caley House . Its caregiving team is rich in experience and provides a safety net and support for all residents , allowing them the freedom and independence to make decisions . STERLING POINTE SENIOR LIVING
The 57-unit Sterling Pointe Senior Living apartment building opened in 2011 , at 1250 Northland Dr ., just north of Princeton ’ s hospital .
Twenty-one of the 57 apartments are designed for enhanced memory care . Thirty-six of the Sterling Pointe apartments are classified as either independent plus living or assisted living . The tenants in the independent plus living apartments receive one meal per day with light weekly housekeeping and can use all the community spaces . Those spaces are the great room , private dining room and coffee shop , chapel , outdoor patio and beauty salon-barber shop . Sterling Pointe offers respite care , and friends and family have access to renting a guest suite , which is like a fully-furnished hotel room .
Assisted-living occupants receive three meals per day with the option to receive more comprehensive housekeeping than those in independent plus living apartments . Extra services are ala carte , such as escort , help in the bathroom and assistance with dressing and medicine reminders . The enhanced memory care part of the building has security within the building and most of those occupants have dementia or Alzheimer ’ s .
