Golf Carts
Golf carts designed for on-road use or modified to meet requirements of the low-or medium-speed vehicle and registered as such in the visitor ’ s home state are allowed to operate on the streets where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less . Golf carts are not allowed to operate on sidewalks .

Recycling
Don ’ t despair when you don ’ t find recycling bins in Pigeon Forge . We truly care about protecting our environment , so to encourage everyone to recycle , we ’ ve made it easy . Sevier County has the highest recycling rate in the entire state of Tennessee and is home to a state-of-the-art recycling center , one that sorts recyclable materials from collected trash . Sixty percent of that material is turned into compost for county residential and commercial use .

In general , Tennessee recognizes handgun-carry permits issued by any state ; however , to lawfully carry a handgun in Tennessee based on a permit or license issued in another state , you must be in possession of the permit or license anytime you carry the gun in Tennessee .
