day six
AWB visited the dairy operation of Royal Family Farms, located in Royal City. This is a multigenerational, family-owned agricultural enterprise rooted in values of hard work, sustainability, and community. Founded in 1962 by Wells and Loriol Allred, the farm has grown from modest row crops into a diverse operation spanning orchards, dairy, beef, and regenerative crop farming. Today, the Allred family manages thousands of acres and has pioneered a closed-loop farming system that transforms crops into milk, meat, and manure— enhancing both efficiency and environmental health. Their commitment to regenerative agriculture and ethical stewardship has made Royal Family Farms a model for sustainable large-scale farming. Through ventures like Royal Dairy and The Ranch farm market and restaurant, they continue to provide nutritious, locally sourced products while fostering a strong sense of community and legacy.
