There is good news for Lake Conference boys hockey fans this season . Almost none last year ’ s star underclassmen have jumped the fence to the Junior ranks .

Edina returns 100 percent of its varsity underclassmen from last season . Eden Prairie has everyone back except for leading scorer Mason Moe , who opted for the United States Hockey League . Wayzata has three star senior defensemen Finn De St . Hubert .

George Ericson and Carson Clark , back for another year . Minnetonka retained its two outstanding senior defensemen , captains Devin Berg and Tyson Mahady . Nick Koering of Eden Prairie was playing for Muskegon in the USHL this fall before deciding to finish his high school career at home .

All of the above are featured on this year ’ s Galaxy of Stars list .

Who would have guessed that a defenseman

is the top returning scorer for the Minnetonka boys hockey team ? Senior captain Devin Berg played in 28 games last season in helping the Skippers to a 25-1-2 record . He scored one goal while making enough good passes for 12 assists .

CARSON CLARK WAYZATA DEFENSEMAN

Last season Carson Clark served as the enforcer for the Wayzata boys hockey team . He led the Trojans in penalty minutes with
