In a career that spanned over four decades,“ Big Jack” was at the forefront of issues affecting home builders and a guiding force as a high-profile industry leader and a tireless behind the scenes worker in political affairs, association programs and community service. He devoted countless hours to charities and community improvement projects in addition to his association work. His dedication, energy and generosity have inspired future industry and association leaders. He was FHBA’ s Builder of the Year in 1978.( Charter Member, Elected to Hall in 1990)
