An innovative leader and trend-setting membership promoter, he served with distinction as President of the Builders Association of South in 1971 and the Florida Home Builders Association in 1976. In the 1960s, he revolutionized the membership development efforts of the National Association of Home Builders by revitalizing the Spike Club and creating special incentives for recruiters. As FHBA President, his efforts helped provide FHBA members with cost-saving insurance coverage.( Elected to Hall in 1998)
