Fellowship Around the Agency
Hancock State Prison ( SP ) held a ribbon cutting for their new Faith and Character Based Program ( FCB ). The FCB program provides an environment for positive change through the promotion of personal accountability and responsibility , integrity , and the building of one ’ s faith and character .
Dodge SP , Telfair SP , and McRae Women ’ s Facility recently hosted a kickball tournament to foster professional relationships , promote wellness , and provide an outlet for stress management . The day was filled with good food , music , laughter , and fellowship among GDC staff .
Chaplain Averett recieved a coin and certificate from Prison Fellowship for his commitment to the offender population at Dodge
State Prison . We appreciate your dedication , work ethic , and volunteer services to the staff and offenders .
