McRae Women’ s Facility hosted a Domestic Violence Policy Roundtable with attendees including Chairman Stan Gunter, Director Pamela Wiggins, and other advocates and community leaders. The committee aims to educate, heal, and empower incarcerated survivors, promote policy change, and build partnerships between the justice system and advocacy organizations.

The 11th annual Kids Fishing Rodeo was held at Lake Camaru, with Cooper West winning first place in overall biggest fish with a nine-pound catfish.
