GDC K9 Officers
The GDC OPS K9 unit is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year and is committed to bringing justice to those who pose a threat to the safe and secure operations of our facilities.
Thank you to Georgia Department of Corrections Special Agents David Clarke and Cody Williamson for attending a meeting with the Appling County Sheriff’ s Office Explorers Post 560. Agent Clarke brought K9 Diddy and K9 Tank to demonstrate the various roles canines play within the Department of Corrections. The Department takes pride in showcasing the important and diverse functions of its K9 Unit and values the dedication of its Special Agents and the vital impact they have in fulfilling the agency’ s mission.
