For a decade, service has defined who we are. From supporting the Special Olympics and organizing the DCS Day of Service to championing the State Charitable Contributions Program and bringing joy through the DFCS Secret Santa Program, DCS continues to invest in the well-being of Georgia’ s communities.
DCS Day of Service: Service in Action
DCS employees across Georgia come together for the annual Day of Service, participating in a wide range of outreach activities that reflect our ongoing commitment to community support. From stocking local food and clothing pantries to collecting donations for animal shelters, employees identified and met the unique needs of their local areas. Through their efforts, DCS employees continue to embody the agency’ s mission beyond supervision, turning service into a shared force for good across Georgia.
State Charitable Contributions: Giving That Grows
Across the state, our employees lead with compassion, giving their time, energy, and talents to initiatives that make a real difference.

DCS proudly participates in the State Charitable Contributions Program( SCCP), demonstrating our collective commitment to giving back.
In FY25, DCS employees raised $ 7,355, bringing the agency’ s total donations since 2015 to $ 107,920. Each dollar reflects the generosity and spirit of teamwork that defines DCS, uniting staff across the state to make a lasting difference for those in need.
