Now in its tenth year, DCS continues to demonstrate that reentry is not just a process— it is a pathway to accountability, stability, and opportunity.
The Reentry Services Division strengthens public safety by connecting supervision with meaningful support. Through strong partnerships, innovation, and measurable outcomes, the Division helps individuals rebuild their lives while contributing to safer communities statewide.
In FY25, Reentry Services expanded its reach by enhancing community coordination, broadening resource networks, and implementing housing initiatives designed to promote long-term stability and successful reentry.
These efforts translated into measurable impact:
17,512 meaningful interactions connecting individuals under supervision with reentry stakeholders 14,525 direct referrals for employment, housing, healthcare coverage, and behavioral health support 3,008 active community partners statewide, including providers, housing programs, employers, faith-based organizations, and nonprofits
Together, this network transforms supervision into opportunity— supporting accountability, sustainability, and successful outcomes across Georgia.
EVERY REFERRAL REPRESENTS SOMEONE’ S CHANCE TO REBUILD, RESTORE, AND REINTEGRATE.
