Southern Cruzers Summer Spectacular Car Show – 9 a. m. to 2 p. m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, Buck Hill, 15400 Buck Hill Road, Burnsville. Portion of proceeds donated to charity. No pets, scooters, skateboards, bicyles or rollerblades allowed. More information is at www. thesummerspectacular. com.
Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster – Sept. 4-6. Features city block party, craft beer tasting, entertainment, fireworks, carnival rides, children’ s activities, emergency personnel demonstrations, food and beverages from local restaurants, and parades. PRIDE Celebration – 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday, Sept. 13, Nicollet Commons Park. Celebrating PRIDE( Personal Rights in Defense and Education) and the advancement of legal rights for the LGBTQ + community. Yappy Hour – 3-5:30 p. m., Sept. 20, 2025, Alimagnet Dog Park. Dog-themed vendors, food trucks, giveaways and furry friends. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. All dogs must remain leashed.
Halloween Fest – 6-8 p. m. Oct. 25, 2025, Nicollet Commons Park. Registration coming this fall. Children are invited to this family-friendly event that includes an illuminated trick-or-treat trail, music and entertainment. More is at burnsvillemn. gov / events.
Winter Lighting Ceremony – 6 p. m. typically held around Thanksgiving Day, in Burnsville’ s Heart of the City at Nicollet Commons Park. Organized in conjunction with Burnsville Community Foundation. More information is at burnsvillemn. gov / 819 / Winter-Lighting-Ceremony.
Burnsville Juneteenth – Held on June 21 in 2025, Nicollet Commons Park, Heart of the City, Burnsville. Live music, food trucks, inspiration and fun in recognizing Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, held annually on the June 19 to commemorate emancipation from slavery on that day in 1865.
